By analyzing a company’s network diagrams, a student will be able to identify the current IT infrastructure, IT standards, and IT protocols and then identify potential technology improvements to increase business performance and create a report to senior management justifying the need for the technology improvement.
Competency 2:
By analyzing network diagrams of a company, a student will be able to create a summary of risks to the current IT structure, recommendations for mitigating the risks, recommendations for IT infrastructure improvements, and a system management plan detailing the addition of an ERP, CRM, or SCM system.
Competency 3:
By utilizing concepts taught throughout the course and network diagrams, students will create an e-commerce proposal and implementation plan and an IT infrastructure improvement proposal and presentation.
