Part 1: What You Have Learned
Top of Form
Reflect on the past 11 weeks and everything you have learned. What are two things you learned about building an effective team that you didn’t know before? What’s the most surprising thing you discovered about the process of putting together a team? How will what you’ve learned about building teams help you create your own winning team in the future, specficially?
Note: To receive full credit, remember also to write 2 posts in the discussion: one original and a response to another student. Remember one or two sentences does not qualify as a substantive learning post for both original and peer responses. Show off what you have learned!
Part 2: Student Response (Kindly Respond)

Hello professor and classmates. I cannot believe it is time to do the wrap up discussion for this term already. It has been a fantastic learning experience for me throughout the quarter teaching me new lessons about team building and reminding me of some of the basics of being a great team member and leader. Two things I will carry with me from this term is one being able to know my own strengths and weaknesses so that I can form a proper team accordingly. You always want everyone to compliment the other team members and be able to pick up the slack in an area where others may struggle. It is perfectly okay to know you do some things as close to perfect as they come and others are just simply not your cup of tea. I have also learned that failure does not have to determine who you are as a team member. You have to take mistakes and use them as lessons to improve upon the next go around. I also was surprised to learn that when building a team there is more than just knowing the assets someone can bring to the table. It is crucial to see through to the person they are as well. Just because a person can physically do a job function does not make them the right fit for the team. There are steps and fine details that can not be skipped when creating a successful team. Coach Gibbs spent the entire quarter hammering home that observation, communication, and dedication are all huge things that make team members successful. I go on to complete the next course in JGR next quarter so see you there professor and maybe Ill see some.of my amazing classmates there too. Best wishes to you all.

I feel that self and social awareness and technology will help me in my future position. Knowing my weakness and strengths is a plus knowing the behaviors of others will help me be able to understand what they are feeling in that moment. Technology will help me know what is new out there and ways show me new ways to communicate when needed. Perfecting both skills will help e become a successful entrepreneur because I will know great ways to approach people and how to communicate with them. Everywhere that we work there will be different ways to use are skills in the workplace and outside of the workplace.
In this course I would say that they should come ready to be amazed by all the different skills that are out here that we use in our day-to-day life. This course will help us understand more about each skill so that we can know the exact way to use them. Be prepared and openminded as well having an open mind will help us grow into a better coworker or friend, or even a spouse. But it will also give us a chance to explore our options in the professional filed. Do not be afraid to try something new.
