Summative Assignment Final Project
[WLOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5] [CLOs: 4, 5, 6]
The final project includes both a paper and a PowerPoint presentation.
The final paper is likely to be 8,050 to 9,800 words in length, depending on the amount of content the student has collected in the weekly papers. The final paper should cover the following:
In this section, the student should provide a brief description of the organization, the “problem” with communication or productivity, and the proposed solution. The student should develop a strong thesis that tells the reader why the proposed solution is the best way to address the problem. This section is an overview of what’s to come in the rest of the paper. It should provide enough detail to prepare the reader for the general subject matter and use a thesis to focus the reader on the position the student is actually taking.
The organization. Use material and feedback from Writing Assignment 1 to develop this section.
The problem or issue. Use material and feedback from Writing Assignment 2 to develop this section.
The proposed solution. Use material from Writing Assignments 2 and 3 to develop this section.
Implementation plan. Use material from Writing Assignment 4 to develop this section.
Use material from Writing Assignment 5 to develop this section.
The student should synthesize what was presented in the previous sections and justify the project. Evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of the proposed solution. Predict the likely effects on the organization and the individual stakeholders. The student should use relevant research and theory to defend the position taken.
Summarize the major points in the paper and reiterate the thesis: Tell the reader why the proposed solution is the best way to address the problem.
The final presentation will accompany the final paper, essentially building on the earlier work in Week 3. This presentation should go beyond the proposal and explain the implementation plan and policy. The final section of the presentation will summarize the points made in the discussion section of the final paper. Here, the student will justify the project. The last slide or slides should include an APA-formatted list of references used for the presentation. This slide is likely to be much shorter than the References page in the final paper.Kingdom consulting

Social Media Policy
Social media is a powerful marketing tool that allows companies to connect with consumers. Having a policy is important to ensure that the workers know the dos and don’ts on the social channels. Failure to have a social media policy can create a disaster for the organization (Liu & Picard, 2014). Many things could go wrong; for instance, unregulated employees can talk negatively about the organization, they can release confidential information, or even handle negative comments in an unprofessional manner (Steinman & Hawkins, 2010). When this happens, the brand reputation can be adversely, and sometimes irreversibly, tarnished. A social media policy is, therefore, crucial to help the company avoid public relations disaster. Therefore, the policy will remind the employees that what they do or say on social media platforms can negatively affect the company (Wood, 2012). Using policies to proactively protect the companys image is the best approach to avoid a disaster and protect the company from any security or legal issues. The organization under focus is Kingdom Consulting which is a small business consulting firm.
Literature Review
Social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and social networking websites have a viral nature allowing them to exponentially rise in popularity. The viral quality of social media is an appealing strategy for organizations to market their services and products. Upon recognizing the opportunity that social media presents, marketers have tapped into these outlets potential to promote their brands (Steinman & Hawkins, 2010). However, integrating social media marketing onto the organizational marketing strategies is accompanied by legal risks, security breaches, violations of an organizations policies, and employees leaking confidential information (Kaupins & Park, 2010). A company that utilizes social medias marketing power has to be cognizant of these issues to protect its image and from liability risks.
A social media policy outlines how a company and its workers ought to conduct themselves on social media. This helps to protect the organizations online reputation, and workers are encouraged to share about the organization on their online platforms. This is why a good social media policy is needed and ensures that all the workers read it. The absence or lack of a policy is not good for companies (Kaupins & Park, 2010). In a case example, Dell was the president of Downcity Motors while his daughter Susannah was the general manager (Watson & Lopiano, 2016). The problem that arose in this company is that Kenton, a sales person, had badmouthed the company on Facebook. This was his second time, and the first time it happened, the company did not have a social media policy. The company owns Mercedes-Bens, Range Rover, and BMW dealerships in Running head: WEEK FOUR - ASSIGNMENT 1

Kingdom Consulting, LLC is a small business consulting firm that seeks to assist entrepreneurs start or expand their businesses. Our goal is to help business owners across various industries make their businesses operate more efficiently and identify and reach their target markets. Currently, the organization faces an obstacle in terms of our social media strategy. While we are known in the community in which we began volunteering our services, we wish to expand our services to entrepreneurs throughout central Florida. Unfortunately, the organization is having challenges regarding our communication, marketing strategies, new client recruitment, and creating brand awareness outside of word-of-mouth referrals. The company has a weak brand awareness. In order to create a strategy for how to resolve these concerns, it is critical that our leadership carefully review, analyze, and identify process gaps within our current communication and marketing strategy. This approach will help to identify shortfalls in the existing strategy to move us toward the goal of building a new strategy that will serve as the foundation for continuous process improvement that will assist the company with achieving its short and long-term goals. The primary focus of this analysis will be to focus on creating a strategy that will help us to utilize all appropriate social media platforms to strengthen our brand and increase brand awareness.
Social media strategies and goals
We currently have a very weak social media presence and need to create strategies to increase traffic to our pages. Through the social media platforms, the organization will be in a position to reach out to a broader audience, thereby creating the potential for a larger mentor network for our clients. The best approach to creating an effective and viable social media strategy if to have a clear, well-defined social media goal. A key starting point for our strategy must begin with identifying our target audience, what content is most likely to appeal to that targeted group, content sharing cycles, and current social media traffic to existing pages to determine which platforms are generating the most hits. After careful review of all of these factors we have identified six goals. These goals are:
1. Increase brand awareness
2. Generate new client leads via social media platforms
3. Receive feedback to be used to create future content
4. Increase brand engagement
5. Engage entrepreneurs to grow mentoring network
6. Increase revenue for the firm
These goals aligned with strategies identified in “Social media marketing strategy: definition, conceptualization, taxonomy, validation, and future agenda (Li et al, 2021). All of the identified goals will be contributing drivers for our main objective whicRunning head: WEEK ONE - ASSIGNMENT 1
