Surname: 1 Name Instructor Course Date Adopting a Workout Program: Need for Good Health Watching the weight machine, I could notice a significant increase in my weight and change physical wellbeing. The prolonged absence of a workout program and motivation to exercise was a contributing factor in my weight gain. I was weighing more than ten pounds (lbs.) more than the previous measurement accumulated within six months. Insightfully, maintaining good health mandates consistency in the procedures to ensure that one subdues through the process. Working out and maintaining good physical wellbeing tends to be a desire of a majority, however, enforcing the program proves challenging. The advocacy, in this case, is that adequately preparing to adopt a reasonable workout program is important in the quest to maintain good physicality, facilitate weight loss to avoid obesity, and improve general body health. Accordingly, in my program, there were core steps I considered key in ensuring that I achieve my goals and objectives. Initially, I commenced with light exercise activities every day including a run across the streets and home-based cardio exercise. In preparation, I was obliged to acquire necessary training gear that would ensure that I am appropriately clothed during exercises. After, the acquisition, I would wake up every morning at 6 am and complete one hour of intense cardio and aerobic exercises. It aimed at opening up my body to accommodate the sudden lifestyle change. During the first week, my body felt very heavy and unable to keep up with the pace of the online-based trainer. I experienced body aches and pain but my motivation and desire to maintain good health helped me subdue. The three weeks of cardio and aerobic exercise were followed by the introduction of a running program, which would take approximately one hour covering a considerable distance. During the first moments of the run, I had very heavy legs and was unable to cover any significant distance despite having adopted a strict home-based aerobic and cardio workout for the past three weeks. The schedule allocated for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of every week for morning runs integrated with cardio and aerobic workout. On Tuesday and Thursday, they were set for extended periods of aerobic and cardio and a walk across the streets to ensure that my body acquired the necessary rest in preparation for a run the following morning. Within three weeks of combining walking, running, jogging, aerobics, and cardio exercise, I felt a change in my body’s ability to accommodate more intense workout procedures. At this stage, I was also able to note a decline in my weight by three pounds (lbs.) and a shift in my physicality. Though I had hoped for a more hasty change, I understood that only perseverance and consistency would result in my desired level. In a month of adhering to this procedure, I felt the need to enforce a more stringent workout approach that would help improve my physical wellbeing. I spent the next week identifying the best gym facility with the necessary equipment to help with my process. The selected gym facility had to be in accordance with my objectives in being strategical to allow for jogging on my way to and from. After approximately three months of aerobic and cardio combined with running and jogging, I felt ready to indulge in gym sessions for an average of three days each week. Occasionally, I would attend gym sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Working out each improved my power, stamina, and endurance to withstand the intensity in gym sessions. Preparing for gym sessions obliged me to enforce diverse lifestyle changes such as watching their diet by avoiding junk food, ensuring that I get enough rest as well as sleep. Over two months after integrating weightlifting sessions, there was a significant loss in my weight averaging over four pounds (lbs.), and improvement in my physical posture. With the organized process and consistency in each level of exercise, it was possible to achieve the desired health goals. Overall, to achieve a change in one’s health and wellbeing, it is important to formulate and implement a workout program with achievable goals and objectives. Maintaining good health conveys significant benefits to an individual by ensuring that they take good care of their bodies. Adhering to the stringent guidelines, adequately preparing, and ensuring consistency in the program will attribute to good outcomes. Implementing this schedule tends to be easy theoretically but proves complex in practical application. However, being mentally, psychologically, and physically prepared to withstand the implications is crucial in empowering overall success. Therefore, any individual with the desire to start a workout program ought to develop strategic steps that lead to their ability to subdue in workout sessions begging with the light exercises and gradually advancing to more complex sessions.
