a) All the answers should be individual work of the student. Any sort of direct copy from another
student, handouts or internet resource is not allowed, as it will increase the plagiarism ratio in
Turnitin which can lead 0 marks.
b) For Arduino programming questions, students are required to use Tinkercad for solution and
screenshot of their circuit should be pasted with Annotation on which their name and ID should be
written.

memory? Write at least 2 reasons for this change.
b. Relate the below given sentence with differences between CISC and RISC studied in
class and given in handout and explain in your own words that which difference
between them is highlighted here.
For RISC processors, efficiency is considered in cycles per instruction and for CISC
processors efficiency is considered by instructions per program.
c. Why I/O interfaces are required to buffer the data while transferring data between
microprocessors and devices?.
d. Explain in your own words that how Buses are used whenever microprocessor has
to perform Memory or I/O read/write operation?

452E, 77C1, 7630, 900B, 1112 are stored in data memory starting from 0090:0000.
Write Intel 8086 Assembly language program to identify each of these data numbers
as Even or Odd. Even numbers are required to be stored in data memory starting from
0090:0020 and Odd numbers are required to be stored at memory starting from
0090:0040.
At the end of the program display the count of Odd numbers on LCD.
QNo.6 Assume that the variables X, Y, and Z are unsigned byte valued numbers stored in data
memory starting with address 0090:00. The assigned values for these variables are:
X= 4A , Y=59, Z=2C
Write Intel 8086 Assembly Language program that calculates A from the following
equation:
A = (52 * 93 – X*Y)/ (Z+28)
The program should store the result A in data memory on 0090:0010. Program should
display the Quotient on LCD.
Assume No carry / borrow will result from the addition/subtraction operations.
