Task: To write a report on the system engineering of an Advanced Radar System developed by
various countries keeping in view its Electronic Warfare capabilities. The specification data is to
be researched from the available material in the literature. As Radar and EW engineer, you should
be able to compute the unknown parameters of the radar system. In addition you will be expected
to verify the known parameters with your computed unknown parameters with mathematical
rigour.
1.
Introduction and Literature Review
[15 \%]
Write a brief introduction about the chosen Advanced Radar System. This should also include a
brief overview of literature review. Include the technical reasoning behind the motivation of
developing this particular radar system.
2.
Specifications and Analysis
Describe all known specifications of the radar system and give your analysis.
[15 \%]
3.
Calculated Data and Analysis
[30 \%]
Parametric Analysis of unknown specification of the radar are required in this section.
Extract all unknown parameters from the known data. The mathematical working and analysis
will be required to ascertain the unknown parameters of the radar.
4.
Analysis of the Electronic Warfare capabilities of the radar system
[20 \%]
Explain in detail the EW capabilities of the Radar and present your analysis in view of the
advantages and disadvantages of the system over conventional radar.
