Configure sub-interfaces in HQ-Router from the addressing table and enable it. Step-4: (5 Marks) DHCP protocol is automatically assigning IP addresses to your network devices. Configure HQ-Router as DHCP server with the requirements given below: • Exclude first five (5) IP addresses from VLAN 50 and VLAN 60. • Create a DHCP pools for vlan 50 and vlan 60 with the names as your first name and your second name. • The DHCP pools should include network address, default router and IP address of Web Server/ DNS Server. Question 6 (12 Marks) Head quarter, Ibri branch office and centralized servers are connecting through Distance vector routing protocol RIPv2. The organization decided to take Internet connection from Omantel network to provide services to all users. So, you have to enable NAT in the border router which is connecting with internet. Apart from this, you have to provide security to your network with the help of ACL. Step-7: (2 Marks) Network monitoring and taking backup are important aspects of network configuration. Configure NTP, Syslog and TFTP service in DC-Router with the requirements given below: • Configure DC-Router as NTP client. so that, it will synchronize the date and time with NTP/Syslog/TFTP server. • Configure DC-Router as Syslog client. so that, it will send log messages to NTP/Syslog/TFTP server with time stamps. • Backup IOS image fie of DC-Router to TFTP server with your name-IOS. Step-8: (1 Mark) The Sohar university design a security policy stated that, the devices in Ibri branch network are not allowed to access data center servers. Your administrator ask you to Configure standard number ACL with the requirements given below: (You have to choose appropriate router) • Configure standard ACL with the number 80 with the following requirements: i. Block Ibri branch network to reach NTP/Syslog/TFTP server ii.
