The lockdown imposed during the coronavirus pandemic is used to ease the transmission process of the disease. The need for the lock-down is to ensure that there is minimal transfer of the same disease to a large population while those infected are controlled under their special areas to undergo treatment (Weible, et al. 2020). The lock-down will impact the lives of the people in different ways and will change the way people respond to the policies that are set. Conversation: From the research done so far, the public is relying on media as the only way to reach the authority for their demands. The policies established during the coronavirus pandemic impact the public in different ways and are causing changes in the way the public is responding to the pandemic. Lock-down as a strategy to curb the widespread of the covid-19 has changed the way people are responding to policies. When the lock-down is lifted in different areas, the public will respond differently to the changes in policies. The public will either accept or be against some of the policies depending on how such policies will affect their lives. The lifting of the lock-down will realize an economically affected population, where people will be struggling to stabilize since their source of income will have been affected (Weible, et al. 2020). Therefore, the policies that are not favorable may face opposition from the people. The response to the covid-19 pandemic relies heavily on mass behavioral change, and lock-down is one of the behavioral changes adopted. Behavioral changes have negative impacts on the lives of the public, and this will also result in a negative response to the changes in policies after the lockdown.
