programming for engineering” course. He wants to know how the ‘C’ program is converted into
machine code and the corresponding program which is used to convert the ‘C’ program into
machine code line by line and the program which is used to convert the whole program into

2). There is a dental hospital where a reputed dentist checks for your dental problems and treats them
accordingly. Imagine you have some cavities in your tooth and would like to get it treated there.
Each time you visit your dentist he charges OMR 7 for the first visit and OMR 5 for the
consecutive visits. In addition, he charges OMR 10 for each of your cavity in every visit. Assume
that you require 5 visits to complete the treatment. Write a C program to create necessary
variables and initialize as per given data, read the number of cavities and output the price of your
total treatment to the dentist.

3). Mr. Rashid plans to purchase the electronics items based on his budget. So he needs a purchase
planner which will help to calculate the price of electronics items, he can purchase based on the
available amount. If Mr. Rashid enters his budget amount and chooses the numbers of electronic
items from the list of available electronic items, the purchase planner will calculate the cost of
electronics items based on the number of items selected, the total cost of all the selected electronic
items and also the balance amount.

Question 4:
4. A team from IBRICT Health Club had planned to conduct rally to create awareness among the
IBRI people to denote blood. They conducted the rally successfully and many of the IBRI people
realize the importance and came forward to donate their blood to nearby blood bank. The
eligibility criteria for donating blood is, people should be at least 18 years old and their weight
should be above 40 Kg.
If the donor is above 60 years old or weight above 100 Kg, they are asked to meet the doctor
present to check their health condition.
There was a huge crowd and staff in blood bank found it difficult to manage the crowd. Write an
algorithm and ‘C’ program using if else ladder to ask the people to enter their age and weight in a
system. If a person is eligible he /she will be allowed inside to donate blood at Room 1 or asked to
meet doctor at Room 2.
