I am also very responsible and thoughtful; therefore, I believe that these traits will benefit me as a person, a student, and a professional. My strengths are particularly dominating comparing to my weaknesses and they allow me to better handle situations and consequences as they arrive. As a student, I believe that my strength is the fact that I am always prepared. I am not a procrastinator, in fact, I anticipate completing all of my assignments on a weekly basis. This helps me to become successful in whatever I do as a student and also as a professional. I also anticipate learning about new things so that I can expand my knowledge base and offer the knowledge that I have learnt to the people around me. This is one of my biggest strengths as a person and as a professional. I love to help others and teach them what I know in order to help them with what they do not know. As a manager and a leader of any group or society, my strengths are my caring heart and my team oriented spirit. I believe that everyone on any team, in any group, or within any workplace should work together as a team to accomplish any given tasks and activities. My strengths are important to help me to become the woman who I am destined to become, as well as to help me to lead in the manner in which I hope to lead. As a leader, it is important to teach your audience the negatives of being a procras tinator and how it can affect them in the near future. I hope to become the type of leader who listens and learns from the persons who I lead and I also hope that I will value their advices and suggestions as much as they would value mine. Personally, I believe that the fact that I lead by being an autocratic and a perfectionist may lead to difficulties in my future work as a leader. I love to get things done, sometimes at a cost to myself and my team members. This will eventually lead to me and my team members being burnout and it will also result in diminishing potential returns, since we will be unable to work as effective as we used to. This is one of my weaknesses that I wish to improve or change. A second area of improvement in my personality is my need to become a little more jovial and social. Throughout my life, I have always been very anti-social, not asking for help when I need it and not taking or engaging in conversation with my team members. I always try to figure things out on my own so that I may seem independent and knowledgeable. This will affect my future leadership skills because a leader should be able to communicate effectively, in order to successfully get all their tasks accomplished. As a leader, I should be able to teach others to lead by example, to communicate with each other and to work as a team in whatever they are doing. Therefore, I need to improve or change all the flaws in my attitude and personality that will hinder me from becoming the great leader I want to be. According to the personality self-assessment, my specific personality type is ENFJ. The accompanying traits for this personality type and the scores that I received are Extravert (1\%), iNtuitive (12\%), Feeling (6\%), and Judging (28\%). According to this personality type assessment, I have great interpersonal skills and I have a clear understanding of my goals and dreams. These can be seen as strengths in my personality and with these strengths, I will be PERSONALITY AND SELF-CONCEPT 4 able to effectively lead each group of people in the organization. I love to think outside the box and expand my area of research and knowledge base and, therefore, I do believe that this will be a great asset to any company that I manage, since I will be able to use these traits to lead everyone according to the mission and vision of the organization. A weakness or an area of improvement in my personality type is that I will sometimes neglect myself and my needs for the needs of others. Even though this may seem like a good thing, that is, putting others needs before mine and not displaying a sense of selfishness, this is actually one of my areas of weaknesses that need to be improved. When putting others needs before your own, you are open to the risk of being hurt or abused by less sensitive people, especially in the workplace when others will use your weakness to their advantage. This will sometimes force me to take on more of a person’s work than I can manage and will eventually result in the burn out of myself. The personality trait, “feeling” can also be seen as an area that I need to improve within myself. A feeler tends to make abrupt decisions based on their emotions instead of making a decision based on logics. In addition, I normally make decisions based on what I believe is right or based of my personal beliefs. Even though this can be seen as a good thing, I hope to learn how to make decisions in a fair and impartial manner as it is laid out by the rules of the organization.
