Deliverable A: Create Enterprise Application Plan that look out 3-Years and aligns with the 3-year Business Strategic Plan you created earlier in Project 1 and specific attributes outlined in your Business Process/Application Matrix and BRODE strategies. Enterprise applications could include but not limited to ERP, SCM, CRM, KMS, DSS, etc. Also in this section, define and integrate a mobile application strategy component into your 3-year technology plan and ensuring alignment with business ecosystem; and specifically how it will enable process automation and mobility capabilities in the various functional ares of the business.attached the project 1 doc.guideline:Deliverable A (30 Points) – Applications Plan Long Range Plan (20 Points): Now create the next 3 year view of BP and EAPs that takes into account the strategy developed earlier (i.e. align with your business strategic plan) Your initial number of BPs may stay the same, increase due to new business activities, or reduce due to house cleaning (your choice). Also, most EAPs are currently available as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) packages. Evaluate and select some ERPs in terms of the BPs they automate. Your analysis should be shown as an Application Matrix (BPs as rows and ERPs as columns). This matrix, an expansion of the one developed in Project1, should show which ERP packages (indicate the actual commercial packages, e.g., Peoplesoft HR) cover what BPs. For ERP package, give one-two line description showing type of application (e.g., Transaction Processing, Decision Support, Executive Support Systems,,,), and how specifically it will help the company (cost reduction, increase in sale, efficient operation, other). Remember that not all BPs have to be automated. Automation increases cost (do a rough cost-benefit analysis of any 5 BPs to get an idea). Mobile App Strategy (10 Points): You attended a conference on Mobile Apps that claimed “ Mobile Apps Can Do Everything”. To prove this claim right or wrong, redraw your Long Range Planning Matrix but use Mobile Apps from Android, IPhone or other suppliers to determine if you can support your entirebusiness with Mobile Apps. Give your conclusions in two sentences (max).

Frank’s Furniture Store
Frank’s Furniture store is a small store that was started 2 years ago. The store sells kitchen and
bedroom furniture. The business plans to expand in the next few years into a major competitor in
the furniture business. The business currently employs 30 people.
To fuel his expansion plans Frank has partnered with a moving company that will be delivering
the items. Frank has laid strategic plans and timelines in order not to fail like furniture.com, he
has learned from the mistakes of furniture.com and wants to avoid such a catastrophe. He plans
to finish his MBA and employ the skills he has learned to his business.
Current state of the business
The business currently sells kitchen and bedroom furniture. It is a small business at the moment
based in Raleigh. The company currently has 30 employees and is in partnership with a moving
company in Raleigh to help in delivering the items. The company’s records are stored in MS
Word and occasionally stored in MS Excel. All communications in the store are currently being
done via phone.
Target End State
Frank aims to expand his business vigorously to a point he has a manufacturing plant, he wants
to partner with retail shops and manufacturers. This is after he has diversified into a wide range
of items. The suppliers will be delivering parts to his manufacturing plant from oversees.
The company is aimed to have full integration of Information technology and automate the
procurement process (e-procurement), he also aims at automating the supply process for the

faster delivery of custom-built furniture. He wants to be a virtual major cooperation that will
receive orders and be able to fulfill the supply and outsource some of the business to his partners.
Key initiatives in the next three years.
Year 1
Frank aims to acquire a small manufacturing shop where he can design, build, sell and repair
custom-built furniture. He wants to open five outlets in different parts of the country. By the end
of year one, he aims to have tripled the size of his company.
Year 2
The store will start to diversify into a wider range of products such as living room and office
furniture and paintings. By year 2 he will start partnering with retail stores and manufacturers.
He will be importing his components and parts from overseas which will be delivered by his
suppliers.
Year 3
By this time the company will have a fully integrated Information technology system with the
procurement and supply being automated. The company at this time should be outsourcing some
of its business to its partners. The demand is projected to be high with the company being able to
meet it.
Outcomes & Measures
Key Performance Indicators are the elements of your plan that express what you want to
achieve by when. They are the quantifiable, outcome-based statements you’ll use to measure if
you’re on track to meet your goals or objectives.
Strategy Implementation Approach & Timeline
The number of clients the store has this will be measured to determine how well the business is
doing and its ability to retain and attract new customers.
The number of partners, the more the number of partners will indicate the success of the
business. If the business does well it will have partnered with manufacturers and suppliers.
Number of stores the company will have opened- an increase in the number of stores will be an
indication of the company’s growth and success within the years. It will also indicate its ability
to attract customers.
The number of orders the company will receive. This indicates its penetration in the market.
The diversity of the products being sold. If the company can diversify its furniture it will be an
indication that the initial products were a success allowing for the company’s expansion.
The number of employees Frank will have will indicate how well his business is doing in terms
of expansion and diversity.
Competition this will be measured based on whether the company can compete with the other
established names, if yes it will be success if no Frank needs to reevaluate his business plan.
