Shareholder Analysis
Introduction
An organizations stakeholders are a group of individuals who have a significant interest in an institution and can either influence the facilitys activities or be affected by the actions executed by the corporation. The primary fundamentals in a standard organization include its employees, suppliers, investors, and customers. However, the recent shift towards corporate social responsibility has been a concept extending rapidly to governments, communities, and trade organizations. In this regard, an organizations stakeholders can be external or internal to the organization. Internal stakeholders are interested within an organization and establish contact through ownership, investments, or employment.
On the other hand, external stakeholders do not have the interest to commit fully to the organization. External stakeholders becoming a part of its staff are affected by the activities and outcomes of the organization. The external shareholders include creditors, suppliers, and focus groups.
Stakeholders are an essential ingredient in the organization because they do their best to help get the firms project into shape where the organization can take advantage of the opinions availed to them by robust stakeholders to assist in defining the firms project during its planning stage. Secondly, stakeholders are essential when they become involved in gaining critical resources in the community. Such include raw materials supplied by suppliers, people who provide the organization with human resources the firm needs, such as skills and human resources, to ensure that the firm will succeed. Stakeholders are an essential element by assisting organizations in building understanding by fostering effective communication with the stakeholders. When communicating, the organizations ensure that the stakeholders clearly understand the organizations intentions and how its activities will benefit them in the long run; this enables the organization to provide any support that the organization needs, including ideologies. Lastly, stakeholders will allow the organization to stay ahead of the competitors as they provide valuable insights regarding anticipation in the business environment. The business can use the information to make the necessary adjustments to remain competitive in the business landscape and provide the stakeholders with the value they value.
Case Scenario
As the chief executive officer at a society hospital that is intending to hire a laboratory technician, there are various things I will consider. A laboratory technician is an essential component for the efficient functioning of a healthcare facility. These technicians work closely with the physicians to carry out laboratory tests on samples. Even though they usually work behind the scene, they are of great use to the health sector as they assist in helping doctors detect illnesses or diseases and determine the outcome of different treatment options (Crocker et al. 2020). The majority of hospitals are certified by the board who caters to the internal shareholders who have experienced equal training as other medical practitioners. The lab technicians play an important in ensuring that the medical practices used by the doctors will bring effective outcomes and that the infectious diseases are detected early enough and the control measures erected in place.
Stakeholder Analysis
What sort of stakeholders should a senior executive entail in the stakeholder analysis in evaluating the adoption of a lab technician model of care? First, we will begin by defining the stakeholder analysis regarding company projects, all internal stakeholders, and the people who will be affected by the project (Yoo, 2021). Therefore, a stakeholder analysis identifies who these critical people are before the project initially takes off. The identification further extends to categorizing them according to their particular interest in the firm, their level of engagement, and the influence they will bring along. Then proceed to evaluate how best they can be involved and the right channel of communication to communicate to them effectively at all times (Burns, Bradley, & Weiner, 2018). With the help of the stakeholder analysis, as the chief executive officer, I will begin to lay out communication strategies for every group. I will thus include the following in the organization’s stakeholder analysis to establish the most effective model of the technician’s model of care.
· The company Director
· Executive Management
· Physician managers
· Qualified staff
· Non-administrative/administrative support staff
· Nonclinical officials
The list I have provided above will include all the internal shareholders. They take an active role in managing, funding, coordinating, and providing the right resources, including the expertise to ensure that the project will continue running. Similarly, the external shareholders included in the stakeholder analysis will comprise groups, individuals, and organizations that operate outside the organization. They bear the highest opportunity to be affected by the organizations results and consequences from the decisions made by the organization. Some of these external stakeholders will comprise the following:
· Members of the Community
· Suppliers
· Patients
· Payers
· Special Interest Groups
The shareholder’s roles and interest in the health facility will be:

The stakeholders ensure that the health facility stays in compliance with the federal requirements, and they also donate funds to the hospital to finance essential projects.
They can share the healthcare facilitys earnings and have to take part in active decision-making roles.

They ensure that the firm has adequate funds to carry on with its operations effectively.
· That patient will acquire medical services at an affordable rate
· The medical practitioners will always ensure that the patients will receive quality care.

Their primary role is to supply the organization with the relevant raw materials it will need for its operations.
They always want the business to decide between buying all the relevant raw materials they need.
Community members and Patients
They have a great desire for the business in their locality to succeed, and they support it by purchasing various commodities.

Strategy Development
In health care organizations such as the one I am currently managing, this is a crucial step to develop an account for strategies that will attract competitive advantage. For the firm to establish an effective communication model. the method chosen should assist the organization in gaining support from external shareholders and eliminating problems of restrictions. Developing a strategy fostering adequate communication flow is essential in driving the organization to attain success by keeping every organization executed as flexible enough by ensuring that no critical shareholder will be left out, thus eliminating chances of resistance. Additionally, communication strategies should drive the organization towards developing beneficial relationships with the shareholders; conversely, developing strategies that will strengthen the relationship with the shareholders relays a sense of involvement in business processes (Subramanian et al., 2017). They feel that their opinions are being taken into account, which further motivates them to participate more, which will be helpful for healthcare in various ways. One is that improved shareholder engagement creates cohesion in the workplace, ensuring that many things get completed within a single day. Obtaining massive support from the shareholders is of utmost significance because, at the same time, it can be a hindrance to the organization if there are some areas that the stakeholders are tending to disagree about. Ensuring that shareholders understand the scope of the project, how it will affect them, and at the same time how they will benefit is essential in reducing resistance to accept it. Formulating a solid strategy to keep them informed at all costs is critical in helping to satisfy the following requirements;
· Assessing opportunities in the environment and diminish threats
· Develop the direction for the project, ensuring that the organization and shareholders will not act out of the scope
· Communicating regularly with the shareholders decreases barriers and resistance
· The strategy will link the health facility with the individuals it should benefit from by developing an analysis of how they will help and at the same time how the new changes will affect their operations.
As a concluding remark, there are various aspects of key personnel that make the stakeholder analysis successful by taking an active role in running the health facility. They also ensure that the established goals will be identified and accomplished while at the same time remaining in compliance with government regulations. The health facilitys stakeholders can either be internal or external, with each assigned specific role to play. Each of them has particular interests that the facility must strive to satisfy. Carrying out a stakeholder analysis will assist the organization in the mapping out process of the relevant stakeholders to include in the organization in terms of the interests and powers to determine each stakeholders worth. Also, it is imperative to establish functional strategies that will focus on integrating communication within the facility, ensuring adequate transparency, and that all stakeholders stay up to date with the projects the facility intends to execute. The strategy should ensure that the organization is gaining trust and relevant support from its stakeholders. It focuses on various strategies it will use to minimize opposition. Establishing procedures for the stakeholders is of great importance, which helps the health facility develop multiple ways to focus its efforts and determine how it will be effective.
