Executive Summary In two or three paragraphs, provide a brief overview of this project and the contents of this document. The Cross-Selling System application will be extremely beneficial to MYH. MYH need a new system to boost our cross-selling to existing clients. Separate divisions for key product and service categories, as well as various sales representatives based on those items and services, exist in the current sales management system. We will be able to enhance sales to current consumers with the new system by offering discounts when they purchase numerous items and services. This will boost our earnings and provide MYH additional options for investing that money in ways that will benefit them in the future. The new system must be user-friendly in order to facilitate customization. Customers will find it easier to explore and acquire the items and services they desire if the new system is user-friendly. Having said that, the new system will be more up-to-date, quicker, and more attractive in appearance. In the long run, the new method will help MYH by increasing cross-selling earnings. C. Project Purpose Explain the business reason(s) for doing this project. The Project Purpose (the Business Problem and Project Business Objectives) is in the Project Proposal, Section B. 1. Business Problem The Business Problem is a question, issue, or situation, pertaining to the business, which needs to be answered or resolved. State in specific terms the problem or issue this project will resolve. Often, the Business Problem is reflected as a critical business issue or initiative in the Agency’s Strategic Plan or IT Strategic Plan. Our existing cross-selling platform is outdated and does not produce the results that MYH desires. With that said, there is a method for us to significantly improve our sales. Because our present system includes different areas for key product and service categories, the new system will be able to assist consumers by offering savings when they purchase several items and services. 2. Project Business Objectives Define the specific Business Objectives of the project that correlate to the strategic initiatives or issues identified in the Commonwealth or Agency Strategic Plan. Every Business Objective must relate to at least one strategic initiative or issue and every initiative or issue cited must relate to at least one project business objective. Commonwealth or Agency Strategic Plan – Initiative or Critical Issue Project Business Objectives Agency Strategic Plan – Initiative Develop agood application that can be accessed from a computer or a mobile device, regardless of where the consumer is. Agency Strategic Plan – Initiave To improve MYH cross-selling products and services, create an updated and more attractive system with new standards. Agency Strategic Plan – Initiave Make sure the app is simple to use so that everyone can use it. Commonwealth – Critical Plan Increase cross-selling earnings for the firm. D. Assumptions Assumptions are statements taken for granted or accepted as true without proof. Assumptions are made in the absence of fact. List and describe the assumptions made in the decision to charter this project. MYH and our team will use the new Cross-Selling System to develop a new application that will help us improve the sales of our products and services. This software will be available to everyone, whether they use a mobile device or a PC. • Assist in making the new system easier to use and navigate. • The new system will save MYH about $2 million per year for the first three years following installation • The system will improve MYHs sales, allowing them to invest their earnings in other business prospects. E. Project Description, Scope and Management Milestones 1. Project Description Describe the project approach, specific solution, customer(s), and benefits. The Project Description is located in the Project Proposal, Section C. Our team will work together to develop a new Cross-Selling system for selling our products and services to clients. The new system will have a more attractive appearance, as well as numerous additional improvements to our present system. This will help a company to significantly improve its earnings. In order to do this, our team will need to stick to a step-by-step strategy and verify that the new system meets all of MYHs criteria. To guarantee that nothing is overlooked when developing the new system, we must communicate as a team. 2. Scope The Project Scope defines all of the products and services provided by a project, and identifies the limits of the project. In other words, the Project Scope establishes the boundaries of a project. The Project Scope addresses the who, what, where, when, and why of a project. The new Cross-Selling Systems scope includes: - Develop an application that is user-friendly for all users. - Create an application that can be accessed from anywhere - Focus on developing a product that MYH desires, but also needs for their business to succeed. - Boost company profitability - Ongoing site maintenance, upgrades, and bug fixes 3. Summary of Major Management Milestones and Deliverables Provide a list of Project Management Milestones and Deliverables (see Section E of the Project Proposal Document).
