In essence, although the elite members of the society were talking about brotherly love during an important holiday, they are simultaneously mishandling and increasing pain on the less fortunate in the society Moore also pinpoints the humor of the economic situation in a segment of the film through the eyes of women who make income by raising rabbits for meat and fur. Many people assumed that he was making fun of desperate and needy people in the community. However, Moore was attempting to showcase that a collapsing economy makes individuals engage in doing funny things. The entire issue adds up to an interesting issue of a cultural transition. For instance, to restructure or save itself, Flint establishes an indoor theme park to examine what the city used to be. No one attends the theme park. Although the mall that cost the City millions of dollars opens and closes within no time, many of the film's representations raise concerns. In other words, through the eyes of Pt Boone, Moore questions whether America is still the land of opportunities. On the other hand, Regan requests the workers to relocate to Texas when they are unsure what to do about the challenges of the new economic order, which makes them collapse on bromides and platitudes. Besides, de-industrialization has impacted the livelihood of many people o an extent that many people are now engaging in ridiculous activities such as selling plasma to earn a little income. The irony is that the wealthy members of the society throw parties and celebrate while hiring the less privileged workers to poses in their parties as living statues. Roger and Me was a movie meant to depict an extraordinary situation facing Flint as a city in Michigan, which was unusual in 1989. However, Flint experienced other Plants in the United States, such as Detroit and then to other places where manufacturing was a primary element of the local economy. In other words, de-industrialization has changed the world in such a way that what many people explained as a bizarre extreme is now classified as the new normal. De-industrialization in the film was indeed the dawn and welcoming of the new era in America. The humanism element in the documentary is what makes the Movie interesting. Roger & Me put confrontation with the real human beings in their toughness, and all their follow roughly at the pinnacle and epicenter of an economic debate. Although Roger& Me is political, it is hugely confronting it its view and ideologies. While Moore fails to ponder on the simplistic ideologies and slogans, he reveals the implications of economic indifferences in people’s lives due to de-industrialization. In conclusion, Roger's de-industrialization effect was one of the major drivers behind the many layoffs experienced during this period. Many jobs were lost since most of the production process was relocated and outsourced to countries where the source of labor was cheap. The loss in jobs was caused by increased competition from foreign and international companies. The de-industrialization effect opened up the concept of globalization since many companies could connect and outsource cheap labor from other countries. In the film, it is less surprising that Moore takes an exemplary deal license in showcasing these facts. Although it is not heavily indicated that occupational opportunities in Flint were lost. One of the biggest concerns is the Moors scrambling the sequence of the film's events to support his ideology instead of documenting reality. Regardless of the movie plot, the film's primary theme is that de-industrialization or relocating of the manufacturing plants had devastating economic implications on the local population. References
